Our distinctive, curiosity-driven research is recognised all over the world and in the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF 2021), Queen Mary was ranked joint 7th in the UK for the quality of our research with many of the Faculty units of assessment ranked in the top 10.
Our supportive and stimulating research environment attracts talent from across the world. The Faculty’s five schools host and support over 13,500 students, approximately 400 academic staff, and 1,000 research, technical, professional services, and other support staff.
