Our aim is to attain new standards of excellence in environmental science research training and deliver a transformative inter-disciplinary experience for PhD students.
Our students are trained at 8 world-leading research institutions. These span very diverse areas of environmental science research, ranging from assessing contemporary environmental challenges to exploring complex questions about the evolution of planet Earth. To-date the London NERC DTP has funded over 200 PhD students.
