The Asset Planner will have the opportunity to become a critical part of the UK Operations planning team! You’ll be instrumental in the site success with over $250m being invested on production, packaging and warehouse operations.

As an Asset Planner you will form part of the extended Planning leadership team for UK Operations, representing the site within Global Supply Chain.

You will be responsible for adhering to the Global Planning Standards for the Production Asset and associated Brand over a 2year horizon.

Standards include responsibilities for: S&OP Capacity Outlooks; Planning Time-Fences; Inventory Stock Sizing and Capacity Blueprints.

This will require a tactical mindset and close collaboration across the PET and Global Supply Chain to ensure Operational efficiency and effectiveness to deliver against agreed targets and help drive process capability.

With strong networking skills, you’ll be instrumental in engaging the entire AZ supply network to ensure that the UK Operational plans are aligned to deliver excellent performance and Customer Service at the right cost with optimal inventory levels and end to end lead time management.

As a key member of the extended Planning leadership team you will coach Supply Planning, drive improvement in processes, standard methodology and ensure that consistency and alignment to Global processes as well as supporting and influencing the evolution of global processes.

Skills and experience:

  • A degree in Business, Logistics, Sciences, IT or Engineering is helpful or the equivalent experience.

  • Experience & associated SC acumen within a Supply Chain Environment (Manufacturing, Planning) or IT.

  • Leadership ability &/or demonstrate potential.

  • Ability to use a range of influencing techniques.

  • Proved ability to balance multiple projects/tasks effectively.

  • Strong Analytical skills.

  • Strong Change management skills.

  • Strong Partner Management.

  • A positive mindset.

  • SAP experience.
