We currently have an exciting opportunity to lead the roll out of our new Advanced Planning System (APS) which is part of our Global Planning Transformation programme.

The Global Planning Transformation Programme is part of the Operations 2025 strategy and covers our end to end supply chains across our global supply network and truly aligns with our vision of a Synchronised patient centric supply chain.

This will enable us to respond rapidly to increasing business needs and deliver competitive advantage through the generation of our new Planning Operating model capability! The end result is our supply chains will be synchronised from node to node (site to site) with clear and real-time visibilities.

Our scope includes our planning processes & roles across our internal manufacturing sites, external & internal supply networks. We will cover changes to our planning business processes, systems & information visualisation. This is a major under-taking that will increase our planning sophistication and will be a multi-year transformation.

This is an exciting and key strategic role and you will lead the business planning and execution across our Global Supply Community and work closely with our Senior Executives to gain buy in and acceptance of the programme.

You will have worked in a Supply Planning Transformation programme previously and will be able to quickly establish your credibility with our Supply community.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Driving overall strategy & business change for the global roll out.

  • Ensuring the end-state, integrated, solution meets business needs across all impacted functions (E2E) across the enterprise including Finance.

  • All relevant business requirements are identified, prioritised, and signed off as part of the design

  • E2E business requirement integration across the different workstreams and within the core depending/supporting processes

  • Interdependency identification with other ongoing business programs/projects & defining required alignment activities

  • Development, implementation and management of efficient and effective program governance structures, control and status reporting

  • Business partner engagement and communications, including Finance and other enterprise functions that are impacted.

  • Co-ownership with IT program lead the programme budget and change control approval

  • Business programme resource management, including definition of program resource requirements, resource change requests and ongoing resource management

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Global Supply Chain organisation systems and processes

  • Experience in leading IT system implementations

  • Ability to influence at senior management level

  • Experience in leading teams and matrix organisations

  • Program and change management

  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver large programmes

Desirable Requirements:

  • Experience in SAP/ERP/APO/APS systems
