Information Model Analyst S/4 Finance – 12m FTC

The Finance Architecture, Change and Transformation (FACT) has an important part to play in delivering this vision through leading the integration and effective management of Finance processes, information, organisation, and technology.

Acting as part of FACT, this role will assist in the creation of the SAP S/4 Data Model using the data objects as standard to enable business process and reporting. The role will be responsible for creating the master data artefacts for S/4 and mapping from the source ECC systems

  • Work with the Information Model Senior Analyst to develop the data model for S/4 Finance. Iterate and test the design against the current state and develop the mapping principles

  • Resolve gaps and propose solutions related to the deployment of the SAP data model

  • Create the data sets required for the finance performance KPIs and statutory reporting

  • Working closely with the project team and the Global Data Office (GDO) to deliver the preparation for S/4HANA

  • Create and sustain key artefacts for the SAP S/4 data model

  • Key integration point for the Finance and Operations S/4 data models

Essential skills and experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of reporting and data applications in an SAP environment

  • Understanding of how finance information and data flows within an SAP architecture

  • Ability to influence leaders and teams. Excellent networking, collaboration and communication skills

  • Proven track record of delivery and ability to effectively prioritise to ensure goals and outcomes are achieved

  • Analytical and problem solving skills with an ability to get to root cause.

Desirable skills and experience

  • Part/Qualified Finance professional e.g. ACA / ACCA or CIMA

  • Project lifecycle experience

  • Familiar with key business documentation requirements as they relate to SAP or other Finance systems
