We are establishing a world leading Logistics Centre of Excellence to steer our organisation through changing environmental demands. Our new Global Logistics Function (GLF) manages the way our products move around the world and will become a key part of the performance of our end to end supply chain.

As the Logistics Data Specialist, you will support the Transit Temperature Management Business Process owner and contribute on process governance and ongoing improvements of the process to ensure efficient, effective and clear ways of working. You will play key role on global roll out, embedding the process and data standards, RACI and establishing governance on temperature master and transactional data. You will assure temperature monitoring process data are on high quality in our systems, developing training documentation and deliver training to users on our data.

What you’ll do:

Ensure the smooth operation of the BAU process for Transportation Temperature Master & Transactional Data

Onboard new sites to the correct process for existing Data maintenance & creation for New Customers, Lanes, Products, Support Chennai in the generation of new Profiles etc

Amend process with any changes in BAU eg system upgrade, participate in testing of system changes / upgrades eg ODH etc.

Work with GLF Master Data Process Expert & broader Material Master Data Governance network to make sure the create / change / discontinue processes is documented to meet logistics needs

Work with Material Master, Customer, Vendor, 3PL Master Data Teams, on the end-to-end Data processes, assure CCIS data requirements

Drives and advocates the need for process harmonisation and use of global standards

Lead & contribute to the definition & implementation of data standards, Work in conjunction with the GLF Data & Systems Champion, on the process, RACI, Governance and the GLF Data network

Lead the development & implementation of data quality metrics, to drive high quality data, in partnership with the Data Quality Manager

Embed Lean problem solving into data activities, lead on data defect resolution projects before business processes are adversely impacted and also on process confirmation activities for data (going to Gemba)

Lead role in coaching and developing technical skills and delivering training to the process champion and user networks on data

Maintain strong links & relationships across AZ with related functions/sites/DCs/MCs and initiatives in the company which contribute to the delivery of connected master data processes.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Engineering/Management (or equivalent)

  • Significant experience with SAP (preferred on Logistics processes)

  • Working experience from process and data in corporate systems

  • Working knowledge in LEAN problem solving (Level 0 and PPSs)

  • Have knowledge on Business Process governance or data governance, Change Management

  • Experience in pharmaceutical and logistics environment

  • Good practical use of Excel or other database software

  • Must be analytical, disciplined and should be able to independently handle work with minimum supervision
