We now have a new opportunity for a Distribution Process Specialist to join our team at our Macclesfield campus. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for co-ordinating processes and resources to identify process improvements.
You will support junior staff by providing guidance and advice on reporting requirements, and develop existing tools and processes to identify areas of improvement ensuring business continuity of the function.
What you’ll do:
Find opportunities to improve processes and provides practical solutions for function, allowing it to operate more efficiently while reducing business continuity risks
Develop processes for continuous business improvements, planning, prioritising, implementing and tracking the delivery of various elements of business improvement projects
Identify critical areas requiring intervention and support to ensure business continuity and generate business improvement within specific functions. Support programs for implementing solutions in these areas
Act as a technical owner within Business Improvement with a deep understanding of processes and internal regulations
Support the integration of business improvement through regular communication with cross-functional teams
Ensure that Business Improvement team assembles key reports for analysis that identifies major opportunities for improvements and threats to business continuity
Ensure current and future business processes are aligned to the business strategy and undertakes business improvement initiatives where this is not the case
Keeps own knowledge of best practice and new relevant developments up to date
Represent the “Deliver” function in the Regional Processing Network whilst demonstrating enterprise-thinking
Represent the “Deliver” function in the Business Process Management forums
Support in UK Logistics role when required.
Essential Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (or equivalent experience)

Experience in Business Improvement within a pharmaceutical or clinical environment

Knowledge of relevant developments in the area of strategy and portfolio management

Ability to solve complex problems within a variety of scenarios
