As a Maintenance Manager you’ll drive the delivery of asset performance within a leading modern manufacturing facility.

Leading a team, you will support, coach, and develop Engineering Technicians to achieve best-in-class asset performance through equipment expertise. You’ll provide technical leadership and be able to demonstrate engineering principles.

We’ll look to you to coordinate the performance of the asset care processes in terms of asset availability, performance & output quality and will hold accountability for the asset care strategy, budget, compliance standards, and associated resources.

What You’ll Do

Form part of a manufacturing facility leadership team ensuring compliance of yourself and your team to internal and external regulations. This will involve monitoring and maintaining compliance in accordance with cGMP, SHE, Fiscal and Business procedures.

Be responsible for ensuring asset contribution to OEE (availability, performance and quality) will be delivered successfully through world-class asset care processes and appropriate asset care strategy.

Provide expert mentorship to your given business area regarding assets, asset care, asset performance and variability. You’ll understand the asset, it’s performance, and how this performance can be improved.

Deliver Asset Care capability and Data driven improvements to deliver the business strategy for your business unit. We’ll need you to ensure you have the right capabilities across all roles in your team.

As an engaging leader you will optimise performance outcomes of your team and ensure individuals understand, and are passionate about their contributions.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Significant and relevant experience of assets and asset care practices within a highly regulated environment

  • Evidence of improvement in equipment performance, productivity and team effectiveness

  • Understanding of TPM principles and evidence of deployment

  • A relevant engineering degree (preferred) or recognised engineering training route (e.g. apprenticeship with HNC/HND) or equivalent.

  • A confident and engaging communicator who can influence a variety of partners to drive success

Utilising previous experience, you will value the opportunity to lead, motivate and develop your team, and ideally you will be Chartered or working towards Chartership with an appropriate engineering institution (e.g. IMechE)
