The Finance Architecture, Change and Transformation (FACT) has an important part to play in delivering this vision through leading the integration and effective management of Finance processes, information, organisation, and technology.

In this role you will

Acting in the S/4 Master Data Management process team in the FACT organisation, this role will help to deliver the drive the S/4 and Central Finance (CFIN) preparation activities and clarify the Data Cleanse and Clear scope for the S/4 transformation. This role will have an end to end focus for Master Data Lifecycle and understand the relationship between the data and the transactional/reporting requirements:

  • Assist in the development of the S/4 standard process for the Master Data Lifecycle management, creating and sustaining key artefacts required for a successful transition

  • Identification and resolution of the Data Cleanse and Clear activities

  • Deliver the key S/4 CFIN preparation activities and work closely with the Data Model team to ensure that the transactional/reporting requirements are satisfied

  • Work with the S/4 IT team to understand the capabilities required to deliver flexible management solutions

  • Focus on the benefits delivery with CFIN including the change aspect

  • Understand what the standardisation and simplification opportunities will deliver to the master data process

  • Establish highly collaborative relationships across Finance, in particular with the GDO, GPO and GPDD teams

  • Create and sustain key artefacts required to develop a successful transition to the next generation SAP ERP , including the end to end process flows and key elements of the information model

Essential skills and experience

Being part of the S/4 team it is essential to have a forward looking view on the migration to the next generation of SAP.

  • Experience in managing data

  • Knowledge of the following

  • Hands on master data management in SAP

  • Information/data (structures, data flows, data sources) for Finance

  • Great teamworking skills and a flexible approach to the nature of the project work

  • Excellent networking, collaboration and communication skills

Desirable skills and experience

  • Ability to see past the “as is” and understand the changes required to move to a standard approach

  • Experience in a similar role and implementation of SAP S/4HANA and Central Finance and/or reporting solutions

  • Knowledge and understanding of key business documentation requirements for large SAP projects
