Business area

Working with the Operations Digital uplift space, the Project Manager will interface between business units to ensure delivery of the Quality Management System (QMS).

Having had experience of working with QMS, you will bring your SME to the role to deliver training and workshops to implement new systems and processes, whilst ensuring key targets and project metrics are met.

What you’ll do

  • Leads execution of complex projects and programs in accord with the project governance process.

  • Develops, enhances and implements mechanisms to track and report on project and program progress.

  • Ensures completion and quality of project documentation, and drives cross functional project learning.

  • Anticipates and resolves challenges affecting delivery of goals and objectives and uses the cross project community to influence similar solutions.

  • Ability to deliver key outcomes and results supporting business needs and requirements. (i.e. creating documents, working on business requirements, delivering tasks for business workstreams)

  • Understand and manages integration points among project and non-project work and works with functional management to resolve resource conflicts.

  • Develops and provides project plans including timelines, resource plans, risks plans and communication plans using standard methodology project management tools and techniques.

  • Demonstrates deep understanding of risk management techniques to drive decisions that buy-down and manage risks to ensure effectively delivery of the portfolio

  • Develops project communication plan and manages project communication throughout the life of the project.

  • Uses a variety of decision making and problem solving techniques to help teams to make good decisions in the face of ambiguity and risk.

  • Influences and harnesses creativity within cross functional project teams to deliver solutions.

Essential criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or substantial relevant experience in pharmaceutical quality or manufacturing

  • Experience in working cross-functionally / cross culturally across the supply chain

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relations across the network and with cross functional customers

  • Strong risk-based decision-making skills

  • Previous experience with IT systems implementation

Desirable criteria

  • Experience in leading transformational change programs

  • Experience with DAI or similar decision-making process and models

  • Experience in Quality Systems implementation

  • Experience with global IT GMP Quality system delivery and lifecycle management
